TIPS Problems setting up on windows 11

When i install webmin it says its already installed and when i check the status using
service webmin status it says its unrecognized service

I just keep getting System has not been booted with systemd as init system (PID 1). Can't operate.

I’d blow the Windows Ubuntu install away and start again. Build Ubuntu again and then make sure you can access Ubuntu from a ssh session on Windows. Then install IncrediblePBX.

i reset everything made a new one and im getting the same error when i try to use webmin. It didnt auto install and i followed the official webmin guide and then when i do webmin server status it gives me that same error

Webmin doesnt show up here either

So the pbx doesn't have an IP address. You need to fix this.

Ive also been told i might need to add this

But not sure where to but that because theres tons of commands there already and dont want to mess anything up

Before running the PBX installer you need to make sure that your Ubuntu install can get an IP address from your router OR you set a static IP address. When you achieve that only then run the PBX installer.

what do i need to do to achieve this? the internet works on it so idk why it wouldnt be able to.

the gui is on webmin right? How can I access if it doesnt launch?

No. In a web browser go to

http://172.31.124.247/admin

and login.

You don't use webmin to administer the PBX.
