TIP: You will save yourself an enormous amount of frustration by deploying an OpenVPN client as soon as your new build comes on line. You then can access it in the traditional way using SSH from anywhere on your OpenVPN network.

I have successfully created a working IncrediblePBX 2021. Ward mentions the problem of no audio, and recommends a VPN connection. I am however trying to use Obi 200 ATA for home phones, and these do not have VPN capability. Has anyone found a work-around for the no-audio problem? Thanks.

That is probably due to strict settings of the firewall.
You can either modify the firewall to allow non VPN traffic in, or get a router with something like OpenWRT and set up a VPN on it. You can then connect it to the PBX, then any device connected to that router will have access to the VPN.

I simply open up the necessary ports on the Oracle firewall ingress and egress section and don't have that issue. That way, IncrediblePBX's firewall can handle anything it needs.

Just a heads up that we're starting to receive almost weekly alerts of login issues on their Virginia-based servers. So far, it hasn't affected any of our instances. But it's probably worth regularly checking your instances to make sure they're still up and running.

I've gotten over a dozen service messages on those servers today. They are constantly stopping my servers for the past month or so. I only use these for sandbox servers but its getting annoying.
