Hi everyone, trying out 3CX for my office on the free SMB just to make sure it is what we want before paying for pro version, but my android IP keeps getting blocked, no issues from my yealink IP phone. there are no advanced settings on the console to whitlist an IP since it is the SMB version, any ideas please?

  1. Go to “Advanced” > “IP Blacklist” in the 3CX Admin Console.
  2. Click “Add” to add an entry.
  3. From the dropdown menu select “Add single IP Address” and enter the IP address that you want to allow, e.g. 123.123.123.123 (you can also select to add a range of IP addresses using a subnet mask).
  4. Set Action to “Allow”.
  5. Add a description for the IP address, e.g. “Remote office”.
  6. Click on “OK” to create an Allow entry in the IP Blacklist for the whitelisted IP address. All traffic originating from this IP address will be unchecked and the anti-hacking algorithms will not come into effect.

Hi! yes i read that earlier on a thread, but the free SMB version does not have an "advanced" option, someone said that since it is their cloud based version. any ideas? and THANK YOU FOR TRYING TO HELP ME! i can SSH into it, so wonder if i can clear it there? My mistake, cannot SSH into it, I created my own SBC on raspberypi 5 in order to connect my yealink IP phone, but that has no issues connecting.

How about:

  1. Access the 3CX Management Console: Log in to the 3CX management console as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Security Settings: Go to Settings > Security.
  3. IP Blacklist: Click on IP Blacklist.
  4. Find the Blocked IP: Locate the IP address you want to unblock in the list of blocked IPs.
  5. Remove the IP: Click on the Remove button next to the IP address to unblock it.

yup, no security settings section, i think i will have to contact 3cx and ask to unblock?

I think lots here have abandoned 3CX after they pulled the shenanigans of killing off the free tier.

I assume you can SSH in?

Code:
sudo 3cxpbx -removeblockedip <IPADDRESS>

most 3CX hosted solutions do not allow direct SSH access to the server, meaning you would need to manage your system primarily through the 3CX management console instead of directly via SSH. but again, the free sbc has no advanced or security settings access. i have e mailed 3cx to ask to unblock the ip.

Well, in my previous message, I did not mention SSH, but console. Many hosted services do provide a virtual console to access the command line.

hmmm good point and suggestion, but i do not know if there is one for 3cx, thank you!
