HI in sip info I can see a remote extension always uses a high numbered port...
Name/username Host Dyn Nat ACL Port Status
502 (Unspecified) D N A 0 UNKNOWN
501/501 •••.•••.•••.••• D N A 49503 OK (102 ms)

never had a problem with the phone, just wondering why it is not using 5060 ? 5060 is stated in the extension setup for that extension...
 
are you sure the 5060 isn't the destination? i'm guessing the 49503 is the source port?

WHat you see there depends on the what type of NAT device you are using, and is more to do with your router than asterisk. It should be nothing to worry about, and I have never really fully understood why Asterisk shows this with some NAT devices but not others.

I'm using a Zyxel P-661H with pure 1-1 NAT no port forwarding and no firewall...

My understanding was your phone was working, you were just curious about the high port number reported.
