Yes, as does Netgear, Cisco, and I believe even Dell on certain models. However I believe from reading that release you would need an HP Care Pack. If you go to the HP 2920 page you will see a service and support tab with this care pack information. I don't think a warranty means you have a service contract.

IMHO they're not really a pro-level solution, but my experience has been that a valid VOIP system uses little/no horsepower, which is why I'm looking for a 'phone-lite' version... I've got a client locally who insisted on using a used Dell intel core 2ghz tower they had handy, with 1gb of RAM.. Still running just fine 3yrs later, with about a dozen desksets & a few other toys....

That new atom is a very good processor, I am using one in a firewall application with lots of vpn connections and it shrugs it off fine.

That being said I just built a ~15 extension with a d510 and it is handling the job admirably.

Do you ever have problems with the NICs? I noticed they are Realtek, and I still have issues occasionally with Realtek NICs. Just two weeks ago I fixed a FreeNAS box that was just killing NICs every so often until it could no longer talk, and a reboot fixed it. Turns out it was getting watchdog errors on all the NICs. Swapped out with Intel (who knows why it was built this way to begin with!?) and everything is rock solid since. When running anything [edit] non-Windows [/edit], I've just learned to stay away.

Just something to think about.

This PC is designed for 24x7 operation. It's supposed to sit behind a TV as a player for digital signage solitons. It has a nice VESA bracket that you could attach to the back of a monitor, or mount to a wall.

The heat sink for the processor is huge, and it has a bunch of caps to help stabilize voltage, to ensure reliability.

I have my personal PIAF running on one for the last 2 years. Hasn't hiccuped at all.

Haven't had issues with them. Using 1 as hyper visor hosts for my exchange and ad VMs, and using another 1 as a VM host, for wmc, plex, pytivo, and unifi.

Hasn't gone down, besides power outages.

I have a number at clients, and they keep running. The best part is the mount. It can be attached to a monitor, using the VESA bolts, or it can be mounted to a wall.
