FYI 3CX softphone BLF softkeys

I downloaded the free Windows 3CXphone ver 6.0.26 to try out on a Receptionist desk PC. I don't know if some of the features are limited, but I can't seem to be able to configure the softkeys to work for me.

I attempted to monitor a Voicemail box, a couple of other extensions, plus the Conference room. It should be easy enough, but I'm missing something. I entered something for a Label, the extension number, BLF/Xfer and my account. Plus various other 'hints', but no luck. The 'busy lamps' do not change state.

I think I've answered my own question... the free Windows 3CXphone doesn't support BLF indicators, from what I can determine. Which is unfortunate, because I like the visual appearance of the app, plus it has multiple 'Line' keys.

I downloaded a copy of MicroSIP for comparison, and it works perfectly. By adding "Shortcuts" a number of BLF indicators can be displayed in a sidecar fashion. It doesn't seem to show DND status when the (DND) button on the phone app itself is set, but it does work fine when dialing *78/*79.
