Fresh install of PIAF 5 3CXV15.5
Can't login using FQDN from an external ip

Are you using the proper port? Can you ping the IP address? Can you ping the FQDN?

Do you get a login prompt? Is this a credentials problem? Your post is fairly cryptic.

Can you access the Management Console using
Code:
https://YOUR_IP:5001
?

If you are behind NAT make sure port forwarding is correctly configured.

Sorry I didn't clarify, by YOUR_IP I meant your public ip.
Code:
Try https://your_public_ip:5001

If it works it might mean that the domain's DNS is not pointing to your public IP. If it doesn't work it might mean that port forwarding/firewall is misconfigured.

By the way can you confirm that the FQDN you are using is resolving to your public IP?

Please make sure that any appliance you have in front of the PBX (firewall, router etc) has the required ports open for the PBX to properly function. (5001,5060,5090,9000-9255)

Also, make sure that the Firewall Checker within the Management Console passes the test.

Thanks

I didn't have port forwarding setup - never needed to on other systems
Can now login using FQDN

Firewall check ok for the most part
a couple of errors like " testing port 9033... unmatched mapping (9034)" that I can't resolve
