I have noticed this for a very loooooooong time. Whenever I switch to the Dashboard page, the stats bar holds at 96% for a very very very long time. 96% of the times (all pun intended). I could jump to a different page, no changes made the jump back to the Dashboard and it get stuck there for a very long time. Is that unique to me? This happens on the Centos, Debian and now on the Oracle instances even with massive amounts of CPU and Memory thrown at the machines. Let me add, this is only on

PBX 2021.

That generally means that one of the RSS feeds that shows news on the page is slow or down. I generally go to the Settings > Advanced Settings > RSS Feeds and eliminate them. Then no more slow loading of the Dashboard.

@herbertshades: Also check that you have a valid FQDN in /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname. We recommend:

server-ip-address noreply.incrediblepbx.com

Then reboot.

Will remove the irrelevant and irreverent ones. LoL. Thank you.

Update: Since removing the RSS Feeds, now I am getting stuck at 80%. That's awkward. Nothing's hogging CPU or memory.

Who would I be black holing in that regard?
Your server isn't responding to anyone so the black hole is harmless. Replace server-ip-address with the public IP address of your server. Have you tried it??

Hey there,

I made the change to the Oracle instance in both the hosts and hostname files. Unfortunately, upon reboot, the hosts file changes are preserved while the changes to the hostname file are lost. Every time. So the Dashboard gets stuck, at 60% now, then jumps to 80% for a very long time.

Update:
etc/hosts has the IP address:FQDN combination. etc/hostname has the correct hostname. Still pausing at 80%. This is cosmetic really so we will just live with it for now. Not sure what else to look. Other Centos machines are fine on the Dashboard load.

Oui. I did. It wouldn't take an fqdn in the field. Just the hostname. Reboot. Hostname change was effected in etc/hostname and the IP:FQDN changes effected in etc/hosts. Still holding at 80% on Dashboard.

That's correct. It's a field for hostname not FQDN. If the FQDN and hostname are as you want them there must be some other reason for the dashboard to hold at 80%. Mine goes straight to 96% then pauses for a second or two then completes.

@herbertshades : Your issue seems similar to one that I experienced once and I described in this thread. In a nutshell it was an email server setup issue. Check it out it might help.
