The 3CX free edition software will become severely crippled at the end of the year. They have changed the pricing structure and reduced what is available in the free edition. Only 3 telephones permitted, only 1 trunk, loss of queues and other features.

3CX has now moved to annual pricing/licensing. I haven't figured out yet whether it will all be cloud-based or if on-site or self-installs will still be allowed.

I try to not get involved in any 3CX discussion as I wrote them off more than a decade ago when they retroactively rescinded their free perpetual license to early contributor/beta-testers of their Windows platform (who actually worked to get those so called "free" licenses for modest-size configurations).
It looks like they are doing it again!
