I have 2 MP-118s that have the same behavior: When we lose power and the devices come back up, they lose their network configuration. I have had to reload the configs back twice in the past week, and after loading up the config, I have to go into the GUI and manually put in the network info.

Shouldn't this be part of the config (.ini) file? The config file has the info at the top, but it's all commented out...and there is nowhere else that shows that info in the config file. I checked some of the other AudioCodes that we have (MP-124s) and they have the same layout. No IP other than at the top with comments but they do not lose their config when they lose power.

My question is, how is the network information persisted, if not in the config file?

Thanks in advance.

Been a long time since I worked with one of these, but I think I remember there being a button battery inside.. Might check for one of those and it's condition depending on the units age.

I was just talking with my co-worker and that's what he suggested as well. I'll have to take a look.

Thanks!

Hello, I have the same issue with MP118 and I didn't find any battery inside of device. So, did you find an solution with saving IP config? Tx
