Authentication Token Manipulation Error

Hi again,
I have been unable to access the root through SSH or through the Digital Ocean Console. So, I did a Root Password Reset. I have entered the temporary password and it prompted me to change the password. However it does not accept a new password - now I am getting an error that reads: "Authentic Token Manipulation Error"

I searched the web but I could not find any instructions that were usable. So, I cannot SSH into linux and I cannot access it through the DO console.

Does anyone have any ideas about what I should do now?
