QUESTION auto search on loading CDR Reports?

I know this sounds trivial, but many many moons ago, CDR Reports used to do an auto search as soon as you opened the CDR Reports module on the UI.
Then things seemed to change and since then you have to press the search button manually to display the default search result.

What I'm wondering is, can I change a setting to force that auto search again, and can I up the default search result limit of 100 records to say 500?

I'd have a look at the /var/www/html/admin/modules/cdr folder - check the .php files there - I bet you find what you're looking for.

Managed to figure out the search limit part, but the rest I'm afraid is way over my head
