I am trying to test out my new Vultr setup. I went to the community to on Vultr to install. My first problem was if I set the password with the command file, I could never get into the fax. I actually had to reinstall and then NOT set the password and then use the default and then set the password. Here is my problem:

I am using Skyetel and have a number for faxing. I can receive faxes, but if I try to send one through Avant I get "no carrier detected." I don't know if its an incredible PBX issue or a Skyetel issue. Can someone point me on where to look. Thanks.

Ok I finally solved this, It turns out I had to edit the 4 /etc/iaxmodem/iaxmodem-cfg.ttyIAX0(X) files and put my fax number in there.

I hope this helps someone else if they run into this.

Well I thought it was working, 1 fax went and none have sent since. So I still need help.

I will do that, but it my fax fianlly went through. Is it a provider issue?

Thank you for posting your logs.
After a quick scan of your log I found this.

Code:
[2021-08-29 17:21:41] WARNING[2224][C-00000020] chan_sip.c: Failed to initialize UDPTL, declining image stream
[2021-08-29 17:21:41] WARNING[2224][C-00000020] chan_sip.c: Failing due to no acceptable offer found

[2021-08-29 17:30:22] WARNING[2224][C-00000023] chan_sip.c: Failed to initialize UDPTL, declining image stream
[2021-08-29 17:30:22] WARNING[2224][C-00000023] chan_sip.c: Failing due to no acceptable offer found

I don't run fax... I haven't used a fax machine in over 10 years and never on asterisk.
This looks like it can't initialize the UDP transport layer.
Do you have TLS set up? Have you enabled T38 pass-through?

There will be others here that do use fax and may be able to help.
This old thread may also point you in the right direction. https://www.voip-info.org/forum/threads/i-canna-get-a-fax-jim.14113/
