An aspect to the missed callers list on the Aastra/Mitel 6865i and 6867i phones annoys my users. When ringing several phones (in a ring group) on an incoming call, the phones that were not picked up log a missed call to the list, even though the call was answered on one of the phones in the ring group. Is there a way to remedy this so that when a phone in a ring group answers a call, the other phones in the ring group do not add a missed call the the missed caller list in these phones?
If there is no way to remedy the missed calls list showing calls that were answered on another extension, is there a way I can turn off the missed calls notification entirely?
