My only IT person left the company without leaving the Grandstream IP phone login credential to me. My phones are connected to the PBX in a Flash Incredible PBX 13-12 with Incredible GUI (Centos 6.6) on Rentpbx. I have 2 broken phones and I purchased the replacement phones. Since I don't have the login to other phones to look at the settings, I am not able to register them. I followed this link but did not work. https://diypbx.com/how-to-set-up-grandstream-voip-phone/

If you are able to login to the administrator GUI on Incredible PBX, then you can look at the extension and get the credentials from there. Then, factory reset the Grandstream phone, and then login to the GUI of each grandstream phone using the local IP address of the phone. Then, in the account menu set the account name to whatever you want, set the SIP server to the IP address or FQDN of your Rentpbx, set the SIP User ID to your extension number, set the SIP Auth ID to the extension number, use the password you got from the administrator GUI on the PBX, and set the name to whatever you want. Save, go to the network settings on the phone for the account you are setting up, and change the NAT mode to "Keep-alive." Save and apply. (Other NAT modes probably work, but this is what works for me.)

Later, after you get everything working again, look into leaving Rentpbx and setting up somewhere that will allow you to run the newest version of IncrediblePBX.

Thanks dhoppy and I have already done your suggestion from this link https://diypbx.com/how-to-set-up-grandstream-voip-phone/ but no luck. I submitted a ticket to RentPBX a week ago and stated i even willing to pay them to fix this for me but no reply.
One of the reasons others are dumping RentPBX is because their service and support has been going down hill. Also they are a hosting company and support there is for the server not to admin your pbx and phones. Are you able to login to the administrator GUI on Incredible PBX? If so look up the credentials from there or try to get in touch with the IT guy who left.

If I read correctly, you cannot log into the phones themselves to set them up, correct?

GS Model? I run Grandstream 1405 (old 2 line) and 2140 (old 4 line with sidecar capability).

On the phones you are trying to set up, find the IP address (up arrow button on mine) this should bring you to a login page.
for what you are doing the username is admin -- password is ? (google model of GS with default password - I changed mine, but I think admin was 5678 or the word admin or password, again I can't remember).

If you STILL have the ones with a different password there is a factory reset key combo that may clear the changed password -- again Google is your friend here too.

Also Dump rentPBX they charge way too much for way too little. I use hostwinds and have a 2 core 4GB ram 75GB HD and it's $18.99/mo -- but I have the potential if 167 extensions so yes mine is way overkil, they have servers as low as 5/mo or use crowncloud for 25/year (post in this forum) or D.O or Vultr, whatever you like , but dump RentPBX (and Yes, I used them YEARS ago).

"Since I don't have the login to other phones to look at the settings, I am not able to register them. " I understand it to mean that he wants to get the settings that were used when the older working phones were setup. If my understanding is correct, I definitely would not do a factory reset on any of the other installed phones, because a factory reset will reset all the settings, not just the password so looking at the factory reset settings would not do him a bit of good and he would have added another phone to setup again.

Start over with Vultr or one of the other services and Ward's Public offering. When ready just Dump RentPBX. That was my path forward after many years with RPBX for numerous instances. ,
