I have this running with exchange 2013. What kind of info are you looking for?

Basically I'm working towards making a more unified communications front for the PBX. To that end - to integrate Outlook with the PIAF such that using click on a contact number to dial, as well as inbound calls can automatically go to the contact in the outlook. I just had that thread tagged and think it told step by step on how to accomplish that.

With exchange um, you can have integrated voicemail and speech to text (it's not that great).

From my understanding, I don't think you can use UM to dial a number from outlook.

I gave up on it a while ago. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. Sometimes the call would answer, but no audio either way. Sometimes there was no answer. I would love to have it work, but never got it to reliably work.

Yeah, I know the missing thread had what I was looking for which was simple integration with Outlook, and haven't seen that listed in this thread yet. I'm going to be digging into this now and what I am looking at for example is that I'm going to investigate in ActivaTSP. I think for people to be able to click to dial from Outlook is pretty big.

OK - I've got Activa working fine that allows you to click to dial from outlook - linking it to your office phone. Now for the inbound screenpop - and HOPEFULLY having it link to Outlook loading the contact.

OK - I got that last part working - but its a pay for play app. It's called IdentaPop Pro and it is very robust. Now if there is an open source of such an app, it would be neat, but this one does the job.

How unreliable was your setup? I get the occasional fast busy when a call gets transferred from piaf to exchange. It happens about once a month...
