NO JOY Dahdi disappears?

Having an issue with my POTs line which I narrowed down with the help from Rhino that my configuration for dahdi for some reason is out of the configuration and the configuration Asterisk is running is not the same as in the file.

Do you know what causes this and how I can fix?

Hello all! Here is a bit more technical information.

The issue seems to be that when Mark boots his system, Asterisk fails to load chan_dahdi. Looking at /proc/dahdi/1 we see that only one channel (of an R4FXO 4-port FXO card) has a configuration applied; the other 3 channels are unconfigured. What's puzzling is that /etc/dahdi/system.conf is properly configured for all 4 channels, and Mark's system can be made functional again with a simple "dahdi_cfg" and "asterisk -r -x 'module load chan_dahdi.so'"

So the question is, what is configuring only channel 1? Is there a script somewhere that's doing the equivalent of "dahdi_cfg -c /some/other/conf.file"?
