So I've just tangled with that command link on the Module Admin page for the first time, and I'm mildly irritated.

If it *means* "Download and install all", which it clearly does, could we maybe relabel it so it *says* that as well?

That way, folks won't have to go back in and *disable* a whole bunch of modules they didn't really want...

And yes, I know, it confirms, but as is common in such cases, the obvious part of the confirmation dialogue is the *list of files*, which - yup - contained everything. The *important* part of the dialogue, much less well emphasized, was *what was going to be done with those files*, and I missed it.

That's a feature of FreePBX, not PBX in a Flash. You might want to create a ticket on FreePBX's site.

I suppose it is, isn't it?

Where's the edge of the frame? Is that actually delineated somewhere on the PIAF site?

If I'm not mistaken, when you click Download All or Upgrade All in FreePBX, it merely preselects the modules it plans to install or update. You have the option at that point of not installing any or all of them. How much more clear could it be?

for the 5 minutes of mental anguish
I undergo every three months
updating freepbx, while
doing exegesis on the precise
meaning of button labels,
I think the utility of FreePBX
is more than well worth it :wink5:
