Afternoon, all. Newbie here. Thanks in advance for your help. New install Green PIAF with IncredibleFAx and IncrediblePDX installed.

Bottom line:
I get an error: Page has no /MediaBox attribute. Using the current page size.\ Full error log below. I've attached my status-output.txt below.

I can send and receive faxes: .txt files and at least one .pdf file created by commercial tool (by someone else) with PDF version 1.6. I've attached it below: Placement-BHAC Auth Form UPDATED.pdf

Problem is when I try to send a pdf created "on the fly" by PHP with the libraries listed below, from what I can tell Hylafax thinks they are tiffs and tries to convert them to pdf and can't figure what it needs in the file? (I could be wrong on that.) These tools create documents in pdf version 1.4. Same with pdf's from print function on a mac and pdf's generated from word to pdf converters online. I don't own any Adobe tools.

An example of one that doesn't work is attached below: steve.pdf

Is Hylafax super picky about something in the pdf? Anyone else had this problem? They PDF's open fine in every pdf reader I've tried.

I'm using the following PHP libraries to make the PDF's:
http://www.setasign.com/products/fpdi/about/
http://www.mpdf1.com/mpdf/index.php

This sounded promising, but I can't find the file it suggested I modify:

http://sourceforge.net/p/hylafax/mailman/hylafax-users/thread/[email protected]/

This also sounded promising, but scarey to a newbie. I didn't know how to even check the current version of the ghostscript

Thoughts? Thanks.

Forgot to mention that same error and same result if I send with sendfax from command line or avantfax gui. Thanks

I was able to fix this using:
http://sourceforge.net/p/hylafax/mailman/hylafax-users/thread/[email protected]/

Mr Lee Howard suggest putting
FIXEDWIDTH="-dEPSFitPage -dPDFFitPage"
into a file /var/spool/hylafax/etc/FaxModify
I couldn't find this file and in an act of newbie desperation, I just created it. Low and behold, it worked. Now that I know it is a version problem with ghostscript, I am working on updating it.
I'm wondering if I missed an update command when I was doing the install?
Thanks.

Use google to search the site for ghostscript and/or mediabox and/or other related terms and you'll find numerous people who have face the same error and also had to update ghostscript.
You can't upgrade ghostscript with the yum repos so you'll probably end up building it, that's what I remember people doing in some past threads.

You didn't miss an update command, manual intervention is required.

You should image your system before messing with it like that, or prepare yourself to fully reinstall if things go wrong.
Trying to say it before it's too late, for once.
