Hi
Thought I'd share our experience with Voiptalk Business Unlimited package.
Firstly the sign up process went as well as could be expected. We got ourselves an 0845 number to compliment our new PiaF with our two normal pstn lines.
Next up was the configuration to get it to work with PiaF. Can't say this was easy. To be honest it did look not too bad to begin with but it did require a few attempts. Unfortunately this is were the trouble started. We couldn't get incoming or outgoing calls working. We kept trying Voiptalk's 0903 number, but no joy.
We raised a support ticket with Voiptalk, but this is were the service lacked. It took a call to ask to cancel the service to get to speak with a support technician and get the situation sorted. Turns out that even for their own test numbers (0903 for example) still needs prefixed with 44. The support technician did admit the IAX hadn't been turned on properly, must be a fault with the website and bingo, incoming calls working.
We have only had it working a few days now, but I am pleased with service now. The call quality is good, better than other voip providers I have heard, which gives me great hope for the future of voip.
Would I recommend it? So far yes, but if it doesn't work for you get onto their support quick to make sure they have turned on IAX (if your using that of course).
Cheers
