Grandsteam Paging

I am having an issue with the paging module and a Grandstream GXP-2000.

I have the paging module enabled, I can dial *80101 to page ex101. The GXP picks up the call correctly, however the speaker and microphone are in full duplex mode. I get the same result if I use a paging group.

I want to use this to page all the phones in an office, several of them are within earshot of each other (not a cube farm, but close). I am worried this will cause feedback when paging.

I have an Aastra 9143i in the same setup that works as desired. So I think the paging module is working properly.

I have the GXP set to:
"allow auto answer by call-info" = Yes
"Turn off speaker on remote disconnect" = Yes.

Changing the duplex check box in the paging group does not appear to have an effect.

Any ideas?

Your configs seem correct - the same setup works as expected with a GXP2000 here. Has your GXP2000 got the most recent firmware?

That did the trick. Upgraded from 1.2.4.3 to 1.2.5.2 and it works properly now.
