I am currently running a server on Amazon and it has worked perfectly for about 18 months. The instance is a T1 Micro and I am paying $18 per month for it.
I have also been using Digital Ocean and had great service from them at $5 per month. So I don't see a reason to stay with Amazon.
What I would like to do is effectively move everything as is from Amazon to DO, however I assume this would not be possible?
I know we have incredible backup however I believe I would need the same versions etc on both machines?

PIAF Installed Version = 2.0.6.3 under *XEN* │
│ FreePBX Version = 2.11.0.43 │
│ Running Asterisk Version = 11.2.1 │
│ Asterisk Source Version = 1.8.20.1 │
│ Zap/Dahdi Source Version = N/A │
│ Libpri Source Version = 1.4.12 │
│ IP Address = X.X.X.X on eth0 │
│ Operating System = CentOS release 6.3 (Final) <> │
│ Kernel Version = 2.6.32-279.1.1.el6.x86_64 - 64 Bit │
│ Incredible Version = 11.8

I could build a brand new sever on DO however re-configuring all extensions, ring groups, inbound, outbound, trunks etc would take a very long time and prone to errors. So incredible backup sounds ideal but I need the base install on DO for backup to work.

So any suggestions?
Thanks Mike.

msatt, I successfully moved 4 x PIAF 2.0.6.2 installs to PIAF 3.0.6.5 and 3.0.6.6 using FreePBX Backup & Restore to create full backups, I was able to upgrade to Asterisk 11 as well.

I kept logins identical on the new base.
