Hylafax in an endless loop

When I tried to send a fax directly from avantfax back to itself, it got stuck in an endless loop:

Restarting doesnt help as it start up right away again.

How can I stop it.

service hylafax stop doesnt help

Intersting, amportal restart stopped it while rebooting the entire server didnt.
