NEED MORE INFO IncrediblePBX receiving faxes - I'm stumped

Hi folks. I'm trying to get IncrediblePBX to receive faxes to email. The PBX machine and the mail server on both in-house. I have Postfix able to send email from the PBX to the mail server.

echo "Phone server test email" | mail -s "Test from Phoneserver2" [email protected]

works, so that part is working ok. The incoming fax calls are coming in through Signalwire. I tried following the directions on Nerd Vittles, and I've hit a few snags. Step 2 says to issue commands that will add contexts to extensions_custom.conf. Looking at extensions_custom.conf I found THREE sections headed with [from-fax]

[from-fax]
exten => _x.,1,Dial(local/${EXTEN}@from-internal)
exten => _x.,n,Goto(outbound-allroutes,${EXTEN},1)
exten => _x.,n,Hangup


[from-fax]
exten => _x.,1,Dial(local/${EXTEN}@from-internal)
exten => _x.,n,Hangup

[from-fax]
exten => _x.,1,Dial(local/@from-internal)
exten => _x.,n,Goto(outbound-allroutes,,1)
exten => _x.,n,Hangup

There are also multiple sections containing these lines:

exten => fax,1,Noop(Global trunk fallback caught fax tone!)
exten => fax,2,Goto(custom-fax-iaxmodem,s,1)

Is my extensions_custom.conf totally screwed up? I would be the first to admit that I'm not really sure what I am looking at. Thanks, in advance for any help.

About Well your post lacks details of which tutorial? which incrediblepbx and which platform / hardware etc.

there are several on faxing some not so new.
Maybe nerdvittles - faxing-returns-for-incredible-pbx-2027-platforms/ ?
