I am following August 30 2022 Release instructions. Going to do it on RackNerd.

Will my PBX2021 on Debian 11 on Vultr be migratable using IncredibleBackup followed by IncredibleRestore.

Going to give it a whirl! But I thought I might ask if anyone has had an issue or anticipates an issue.

The idea behind this is to get some more horsepower and memory for $28.55 per year !!!

BTW, I have been running other stuff on RackNerd for years and I really like their networking fabric and non-nonsense approach.

Nothing bad to say about Vultr. They are likely a safer bet for novices who want weekly backups.

Unless you have a lot of Linux level customization outside of the IncrediblePBX GUI, I'd just go with the FreePBX Backup/Restore to migrate the basic PBX settings. Just update the Settings > Asterisk SIP settings for the new IP address. The Incredible Backup can bring your email settings and the /root/*iptables and custom firewall stuff across as well.

Thanks for that.

On a slightly different topic, how can I strip down the firewall rules from the huge list of default voip providers to just the 2 or 3 that I need. Just want to make the iptables more readable.

Think I found it.

/usr/local/sbin/iptables-custom

That's the one. It has addresses of most common VOIP providers pre-built.
