TIPS Interconnecting VitalPBX and Incredible PBX

Does the trunk show up at both ends? You only need one trunk between the sites. From the Asterisk CLI at each system, you can do a pjsip show endpoints and the trunk on each end should show available / in service. If so, have you adjusted your outbound routes to use the new PJSIP trunk?

Log into the Asterisk CLI using asterisk -rvvvvvv on both sides when the system is not busy and call from one side to the other. See what the console shows. The all circuits busy reports to a routing error.

Also check your route on either end to see if you have the route-type set to intra-company.

OK. I've got a working trunk between the two systems and can call between IncrediblePBX-2027D and VitalPBX. Here are screen shots:

Keep in mind that since I don't know what your ports are on IncrediblePBX and VitalPBX for pjsip, the port numbers I show may not match yours.

ok nor both extensions can call each other..........................IPBX ext. 800 to VPBX 400 and visa versa!

So try your queue breakout IVR and advise.

OK so here is the sequence..................i cakk into IPBX, get IVR, press 0 goes to Queue, there i have breakout IVR set up that says press 1 for callback, 2 for VM, the 2 for VM works, but when press 1 for callback, it rings the extension 400 on the VPBX side, it does not go to the VPBX destination callback queue?

i have inbound route on VPBX with CID pattern 8XX with inbound destination se to queus callback, but it still just rings extension 400. on the IPBX side, the ring group to send the call to VPBX is set to 400#

Did you set the ring group for confirm calls = no?

yes......................to no......so it iseems the ring group is doing what we setit to.................reing extension 400, which it does on the VPBX side......................maybe i should not of set up an extension 400 on the VPBX side? i though i needed to? i have an inbount route on VPBS side with CIC pattern 8XX with destination queues callback module, but it still rings the actual extension.

I only have a free version of VitalPBX so I can't test the callback function. Change your Ring Group on IncrediblePBX to ring a real extension on the VitalPBX and see if the call goes and can be answered by that extension.

Here is my understanding. Is this correct?

Code:
IncrediblePBX VitalPBX
Extensions: 8xx Extensions: 4xx
Main Queue Callback queue
                                                                        Callback ext 400
