Join Conference using REST API

Hi guys,
just a simple question. Is possibile to join an external number, to an ongoing confbridge, using rest api?
I immagine i can pass to request the number of confbridge and called number.
Is just a thought.
Can someone confirm is this possibile (in such a way) ?

Yes, AMI and ARI should allow for this with the Redirect command.

Just a confirm, because is not working.
Conference bridge created by stasis app, cannot joined to a 3rd parties (called and the "ami redirected"). Am I right?

What's not working? How are you doing any of this? You need to show the work.
