Leave MWI light on until delete message

Is it possible to leave the MWI light on until a message is deleted? I have two extensions that need to share a common voice mail box. It's for our reception area where we have two people answering the phone. However, there are times when a message is listened to by one person and it needs to be answered by the other person. I am finding that we occasionally have VM's fall through the cracks because the MWI doesn't stay on even if the message isn't deleted.
