This post is for anyone who gets the Marvell 8056 LAN cards.
I got two on the ASUS RS100-X5/PI2 and they did not work out of the box. PiaF (centos) tries to use the Sky2 driver which does not work. I also tried to install the drivers supplied on the cd that came with the server, which did not work either.
Just get a USB drive, plug it into a computer with internet (borrow someones for 5 minutes) and download the 8056 driver from Marvell, copy it to your new PBX's /tmp drive and install it as per the instructions.
We have been hammering this server for some time now and it looks like it is a nice rack mount PBX, thumbs up so far.
