TIPS Migration of Incredible PBX 13.0.197.21

Team, I am planning to upgrade our Incredible PBX 13.0.197.21, but I notice Incredible PBX 16-15 and Incredible PBX 2020 both are available. I want to know if Incredible PBX 2020 can use on the production environment and is it possible to migrate Incredible PBX 13.0.197.21 directly Incredible PBX 2020? I noticed that in-place upgrade is not possible. Is this correct?

IncrediblePBX 2020 is the currently supported platform. Many have tried to "migrate" data from FreePBX 13 to FreePBX 15 with very poor success. The recommended method is to set up a server or cloud instance with a fresh install of IncrediblePBX 2020 and then do manual entry into the IncrediblePBX 2020 system. Use two screens or two windows with the old and the new on them. Cut and paste and stare and compare. No in-place upgrade.

What about CDR data from old FreePBX 13? Will that applicable to IncrediblePBX 2020 system?

Not easily. The database has changed too much from FreePBX 13 to FreePBX 15.
