More Soft Button & Aastra 57I

If I program 6 topsoft buttons on the Aastra 57i phones, I have to hit the "More" to get to the 6th button. Can't they make it so the "More" only shows up when you program 7 or more?

It's been like this forever, and you are right it sucks. I do recall seeing a post on the asterisk users mailing list, or on some other forum a while back; I dont remember the details but it didnt seem like aastra were inclined to change this.

There's similar fun to be had if you try to program the bottom set of keys to have a function that shows only while you are on a call (think 'adhoc record'), as the xfer, conf and dial buttons take the left hand lower three, your button will be put on page 2, even though there's space for it on the right!

Even with these usability fails, I still love the phones !
