TIPS Moving from Centos to Ubuntu

which worked well, except that my custom recordings didn't port over. I have found the original .wav files but not the mp3.s The interface is still stuck saying it's missing. I can't work out how to download them either as the 2020 interface has a little play button, but I can't see the download button?

Any thoughts?

have you tried to copy the .wav files to a thumb drive, convert them to mp3's then copy mp3's back to your Debian system?

That's my plan. I just hoped the original .mp3s were around.

I use a chromebook as my daily driver, so have to jump through a couple of hoops to convert back.

what about an online converter,? Just another suggestion

I was able to get lame installed in the linux console.
