Hey now all.

Please help.

Clean IPBX 2020 install on Vultr (following http://nerdvittles.com/?p=31290 up to the first trunk)

I've set up no extensions yet. Went to set up my outgoing trunk (flowroute) and could not because certain modules are "unavailable"
I see they need updating. 3 modules:
Conferences
Follow Me
Paging and Intercom

Paging won't update as it requires Conferences to update first so I select the first two and hit the red "apply config" button*.
At which point I get an error dialog:
Code:
There was an error during reload: Unknown Error. Please Run: fwconsole reload --verbose

Unknown Error. Please Run: fwconsole reload --verbose

I run the given command at cli and I get another error about "died in splice ext-intercom", some lines that seem to be pointing to "Clearlydevices" module but I'm not really sure how to troubleshoot.

Code:
root@noreply:~ $ fwconsole reload --verbose
Reload Started

In extensions.class.php line 197:

  [Exception]
  died in splice ext-intercom _*80.

You can see the errors in the linked screenshots.

Please advise. I broke the old ipbx13 somehow so I'm starting fresh but have no phones rn so need help asap please.

Thanks.

* Sidebar - on first login to the web ui the red "apply config" button was already showing, even tho I had not made any edits/changes. Not sure if relevant, but including just in case.

Ok, for the next noob, newbier than I (if that's possible).

It's been a hundred years since I did the above and I forgot/missed that I should be clicking "Process" near the top right to upgrade.
NOT clicking the red apply button.

Keeping FreePBX 15 Modules Current

We strongly recommend that you periodically update all of your FreePBX modules to eliminate bugs and to reduce security vulnerabilities. From the Linux CLI, log into your server as root and issue the following commands:

Code:
fwconsole ma upgradeall
fwconsole reload
/root/sig-fix
/root/sig-fix

sorry to jump the thread.

Should/can I run this same command from a machine running version 16-15.2?

Thanks Ward.

This is literally a brand new install fresh out of the box. My goof was pressing the red "apply" button instead of the "process" button to update the few modules. Once I did that all fell into place.

Although I wonder why out of the box these are already out of date. Shouldn't the installer update these automatically?

Anyway, I'm sorted out so thx.

@JFrost If you logout or reboot and then log back in, the Automatic Update Utility will install the updates.
