Hello,

I have several hundred Audiocodes HD440 handsets that came from a working environment on a decommissioned LYNC system.

I have a number of SMB installations that clients would like to use these handsets at. It would be nice to have a template in OSS Endpoint Manager that could be loaded into the deployment and configure and reconfigure phones as need be.

I can only find ATA Templates in EPM that don't help. Has anyone found a template, or built a template that I could get my hands on to use.

Any help that a member can provide to this member of the forum would be helpful.

Thanks.

If those are for Lync/Skype/Microsoft they use specific firmware for it. You should double check they worked with Asterisk/SIP stack.

If you could get ahold of a copy of the VoIProvision software that Lync uses, you could probably use that in conjunction with Asterisk.

The manual provisioning looks rather complex and things change if you are using Asterisk (like the BLF keys). I have never seen a template for this phone in the OSS EPM. You might check over at FreePBX to see if their commercial EPM version has a template.

I have downloaded the SIP firmware from the Audiocodes website. I have flashed one so far and it works with my IncrediblePBX 2027-U server.

It is a rather cumbersome process to program the handsets, thus my request for a template. :)

I will have a look at the FreePBX forums to see if anyone has tackled creating a template. Thanks for the suggestion.
