SOLVED Perl hangs installation

Building new install on a local VM and I get to this part of the installl

It just hangs there.....

In case you're wondering this is on CentOS 6.8

If it happens, count to 10 to be sure it's really hung. Then press Ctrl-C once. If that doesn't unhang things, press Ctrl-C a second time.

Seems to get things moving along now. Why is this necessary? It's worked no problem before without any interaction required.

Because the %$#*@ at CPAN keep changing and breaking things. Sorry but those guys are the absolute worst!

Well thanks @wardmundy for the help once again.. I just made an updated video on installing Incredible on CentOS that covers this very issue.
