Hello,
We have a client running PIAF purple 2.0.6.2. They have Asternic CDR Reports installed and working properly.
They want to have an Admin login that will allow one of their non-admin people to be able to run CDR Reports on demand.
We set up a new Administrator account with the appropriate access, but then receive the "authorization type is not set to 'database'" message.
Further research indicates that Ward and other PIAF folks do not recommend having additional admins and/or using the database-security model. No issue for us there, we don't want to break anything nor do we want to leave the PIAF-umbrella for a pure FreePBX install.
So the question is: Is there another way to allow a non-admin user to run the Asternic reports? Or, can we trigger those reports to be run externally from PIAF via a cron job?
Thanks for any and all help.
