PIAF-Purple Samba Setup

Hi,

I have Piaf Purple and I would like to setup Samba so I can on my Windows machine map a drive to my Piaf server.

I setup a share and start the Samba service. Added a user and root to access it. But when I try to map the drive in windows it keeps asking for the credentials.

And I can't find why.

Anyone have have a clue ?

If you are using Webmin to add users to Samba, it doesn't seem to always work. You can just use the CLI to add a user with this command "smbpasswd -a newuser"
