Hello all!

Maybe I'm blind and I'm missing something obvious, but I want to do something silly and stupid with my IVR, and let's see if anyone has run into it in the past.

Both a customer of mine and I want to see this happen with our IVRs. Caller rings an inbound route, IVR picks up, caller enters extension number, IVR says "please hold a moment" or the like, then begins the transfer.

The key thing missing is the prompt to "please hold a moment." It may seem like a silly waste of time, but they want to be friendly to the caller.

I can't find anywhere apparent in FreePBX or on the forum to address this. Anyone have an idea?

Make a anouncement with the required saying, then set the extension for the destination on the announcement

This will work for a single extension, multi I would have to digg further
