I was able to set up my new aastra 57iCT after scouring all the information I could find. It all worked to my suprise. Until today. I can make calls in to the 57iCT okay with no problem. But, the display shows "No Service" and when I try to make an outgoing call it does not ring the number. I see in the web gui for the phone that it is not registered. The phone will reboot and configure using the mac.cfg file in /tftpboot. The IP, file paths, permissions seem to be setup okay with no changes since it was working yesterday.

Any ideas how I track down or debug this problem?

The access_log and error_log are being written to like this

access_log enteries:

Does this indicate a problem in FreePBX in a flash configuration?

My setup:

* PBX in a Flash Version : 1.7.5.5
* FreePBX Version : 2.6.0.2
* Running Asterisk Version : Asterisk 1.6.2.13
* Asterisk Source Version : 1.6.2.13
* Dahdi Source Version : 2.4.0+2.4.0
* Libpri Source Version : 1.4.11.4
* Addons Source Version : 1.6.2.1

Thanks for any help.

Using Wireshark I can see SIP packets and it is indicating "SIP 401 Unauthorized". I haven't changed the password so could a configuration file have been overwritten somehow?

Fixed by running setup-aastra-xml to recreate the aastra.cfg file.

So, I wonder what happened? Worked okay yesterday but not today. I have read old posts about aastra phones not very good using SIP where they just stop working out of the blue. On the same network other brands of SIP phones would be working okay but not the aastra. Would this be the same problem?
