Question about new system

Until now, I've used the PBXIAF setups with Google Voice.
Someone asked me to work on setting up a new system that will use a regular VOIP provider.
Am I supposed to be using the setup from The Incredible PBX, and just modify the outcalling, or am I supposed to just use the regular PBXIAF setup?

Either is fine. Google voice is just one special in - out config that is preconfigured in the Incredible PBX. Setup appropriate trunks, inbound and outbound routes based on the settings for a reg provider (like vitelity)..

No. In fact, the Vitelity trunks are already set up. Just plug in your credentials and change the outbound route.

Do you have to open the sip ports for vitelity, if you use the incredible install?

I just did this very thing. I setup a Silver Incredible PBX and used only the Vitelity Trunks. Yes you still need to open up the correct ports.
