[SOLVED] Remote Extensions rings, but cannot pick-up

Hello guys,

I have a problem that I tried to solve for days wihtout any success.

My config:

- IncrediblePBX (rentpbx.com) remote. Ip is fixed. Nat enabled on every extension.
- D-link router,SPI disabled, DMZ zone to my ata.
- Ata grandstream Ht-503 configured and connected to my server.
- windows-pc, no firewall for testing
- android phone

From my windows pc, android phone, or ATA (FXS), I can make cristal clear outbound calls, 2 way-audio on PSTN numbers.

Also,PSTN to SIP works great (if someone call my home number (FXO), the call will be forwarded to my incrediblepbx if I'm not home)

PROBLEMS:

I try to call from extension1 to extension2, extension1 will play the ringing tone, extension2 will ring, but when I pickup the call on extension2, I won't have any sound and extension1 will keep playing the ringing tone (as if Asterisk never saw I picked the call on extension2).

SIP to PSTN (incredible uses my FXO port to make a call using my home line)doesn't work neither. Same problem, it rings ok, but when I pickup, I hear nother and the other phone still plays the dialing tone.

I'm sure it's because it's a remote server thing, because everything worked great locally.

Any clue on that?

Many thanks!

What type of devices are the two extensions and are they both located behind the same firewall?

Thanks for your answer!

I've narrowed down the problem to see it appears it is a problem with two phone on the same network (HT-503 and Android phone)...and I suspect the HT-503 not sending the "OK, I've picked up the call" to the server properly.

I'm not an Asterisk expert at all and now I have another layout of problem, the HT-503!
Strangely, it works well when my server was in local, before going to rentpbx.com.

Any clue on that ?
Thanks!

Check your NAT, proxy and stun settings on the HT503.

Thanks for your message.
NAT, STUN, and PROXY are OK.
Ht-503 is in a DMZ zone...
Outgoing calls are fine, and the asterisk-cli shows me everything works exept that when I press the key to accept the call, it is as if asterisk doesn't know I've pressed it.
.....
thanks!

PROBLEM SOLVED

After spending hours, it appears it was a problem with my Videotron D-Link router full of bugs and not upgradable..
Bought a cheap router and now it works great.

Thanks
