Hi all,

I did a very silly thing :cryin: and decided to use Joes pbx management suite.

I now have a major issue in that I am unable to recieve calls into the system (or call other extensions) I am guessing this has something to do with passwords.

Can anyone tell me which files the management suite edits, so I can go in and change it all back.

Hi

I would not regard it as silly!

The script, which is plain view in the /etc/pbx directory changes the MySQL root password, the asteriskuser password, and the asterisk manager password.

That's all

It felt very silly when everything stopped working :)

It seems that it just didnt like the manager password, I reset it back to the standard password and everything kicked into life.....I do remember previously when I attempted to change this it didnt like long passwords, not sure if its just something with my install.

Thanks for the help.

Which suite is that? Is it a purchased item? Downloadable? ?? web site description?

Hi

It's something I put together some time ago, the idea is that each PBX checks in every 30 minutes to a central webpage, so that the PBX reseller has an "at a glance" overview of the status of all the PBX's he is responsible for, along with their public IP address, and the ability to lock down a PBX to prevent the customer doing anything with it if they stop paying your support fee.

There is an NV article about it dating back to about January 2 years ago, and the article is repeated in the provider's section of the pbxinaflash home page.
