How do I go about setting up t*f*t*p to use polycom 301 / 501 /601 telephones

I have the t*f*t*p installed via install-t*f*t*p
which I did when I first setup pbxiaf
I need to know how to get my phones to see or talk to it
I have directed a test set to the piaf ip but no joy

Tom, I had a heck of a time setting up a few 501s but finally got them to grab their configuration from my PBXiaf box. These steps worked for me.

Under DHCP Menu, set Boot Server to Static, set BootSrv Type to IP Address

Under Server menu, set Server Type to Trivial FTP and set Server Address to your PBXinf address. Erase server user name and password.

I also set my SNTP Address to point to my PBXinf server to pull the time.

Tried this but it says cannot connect reboot in 500 seconds
also cannot contact boot server
do I need to setup something in pbxiaf for dhcp first maybe?

Did you run setup-polycom after running setup-t*f*t*p?

Yes I did
I have the tftpboot directory and it has
poly_com_template.cnf
serfer.cfg
sip.cfg
Also has a Directory of polycom which is empty at this point
