I have a 3 phones in a ringroup. If any one of those phones are in-use, I don't want any of the phones to ring. Any ideas ?

[any ring strategy]-prim -- read the blue dot.

re-read question -- that will only work if the FIRST phone in the group is on the phone. for 2 and three... Anyone?

We also kept thinking there was a way to leverage the prim setting for this task, but we couldn't wrap our heads around a path to get that working. At this point, we're just turning the ringers off on the other 3 phones, but if one of them is picked up while ringing, to make an outbound call, it will pickup on the inbound call.

It's a good puzzle.
(Like we need more puzzles. )

If your phones support alert info, you can define an alert info for the ring group apply it to the phone you want to ring
edit
leave the other ring group members set to anything other than the ring group alert info

I think you missed the point.

If no one is on the phone -> ring all
If any are on the phone -> ring none

the -prim only rings none if FIRST is on the phone

but what OP wants is a -prim that checks if ANY in RG are on phone and act as if ALL are the -prim
