unable to log out of queue?

Hi everyone, happy 4th, all of a sudden cannot log out of queue with either *45 or with FOP2? HELP!!!!!
 
It may be a database glitch. Try a fwconsole restart from the root login when you are able to take the system down. Then see if your are still logged into the queue and if so, try logging out. Otherwise, you may have a corrupted database. It just sounds like FreePBX is not in sync with the database.
 
Hi kenn! so great to hear from you, I hope you and your family will have a nice weekend. YES YOU WERE CORRECT! (as always!) fwconsole restart worked! question.....................how come a regular reboot did not? is that command something seperate!
 
For the record, logging into and out of a queue has nothing to do with a database backend. The process does an AMI command to list all the queues then parses and loops through that data. It looks for members listed in the queue and if those members have "dynamic" in their listing. If the member is found in the dynamic list, they are logged out. If they are not found in the dynamic or static list, they are logged in.

Since there were no logs, data or troubleshooting on any of this it is hard to say what was really happening before the reboot, after the reboot or before/after a fwconsole restart. So really can't say what caused the issue or what fixed the issue outside of it wasn't a database problem.
 
Thank you Samot! I always read all of your posts and have learned a lot. I am still in the learning phase and wish i knew how to generate logs and interpret them, but apparently the command did something, have a great weekend, joe

The command stopped and restarted all the services, just like a reboot would. That would mean any dynamic agents logged into a queue would have been logged out.
