what is the Future path for Freepbx ? how do people see it ?
Schmooze as I thought they would monetised it depreciated some modules particularly the CDR reports module trying to sell expensive modules no one really needed before i.e. the replacement recordings module ...and then sold it to Sangoma where it now sits.
My concern is that the project will need to be forked at some point by the open source community so that we can keep this baby going.
I for one am happy to pay a monthly sub to a core body to set up a fork if and when needed, maybe it won't but all the modules now seem to be Schmooze modules rather than freepbx although still under GPL I'm concerned this may not last and the thing might get the trixbox treatment.
