I have been using an older local machine to run Incredible PBX 2027 D
Only have a couple of extensions, and maxi of2-3 simultaneous calls

I am not sure what are the differences between all the cloud providers
If I decide to host it in the cloud what would be a good starting point?

Sofar I haven't seen much information on AWS,
I have read about the free tier Oracle offer and the lack of their A1 instance availability
and the 25/year Crown cloud offer
and 13/year Rack nerd offer

I understand that these offers are limited and he price will increase
I understand periodic snapshot backup is an important feature.

It can be difficult to get an A1 on Oracle but if you do, you can load IncrediblePBX-2027U on an Ubuntu 22.04 instance. It works well and is free. The Crown Cloud instance for $25 is a good deal as well and it also provides one free snapshot for backup purposes. You can replace a snapshot whenever you like.

I run my primary services on Vultr but also have backup systems on Rack Nerds and Crown Cloud. I have an IncrediblePBX-2027U running on Oracle and have had no issues with it. It took me about a month to score an A1 instance in the USA-East location but they seem to have restocked them now.

Price stays the same every year once you're locked in. Snapshot is definitely important unless this is just to play with.

I didn't know AWS gives a free A1 instance. Thank you for letting me know.

I was wondering if anyone uses Vultr because I noticed IncrediblePBX is not listed anymore in the Marketplace a Vultr.

We host several of our server platforms on Vultr. But we no longer use their Marketplace because they kept moving the goal posts too frequently for us to keep up.

Just for information /opinion I've been happy with crowncloud for the few months I have used it. Oracle seems like a pita to me. Crowncloud was easy to get going with the images already available and they are the most recent versions.

I agree it appeared that way at first but I now have 3 IPBX's running on Oracle Cloud free and I can spin up a new one without any problem now. Getting hold of an A1 instance seems to be a problem for a lot of people (me included) but I got E2 instances OK although there a limit of 2.

Well I can see you guys are having luck and if my numbers were just personal I would probably try it out. I also run my business numbers on IPBX so I just wanted the peace of mind using a non free provider. I realize CC could have hiccups as well, but as a non free service, I feel they will put a little more effort into their product.

I've had no issues with Crown Cloud either when I installed from scratch. I also tried the new image of IncrediblePBX-2027 for Ubuntu on Crown Cloud and it works perfectly as well.

All my primary systems, however, are on Vultr. Even they have some outages from time to time but its rare.
