X100p Se

I'm new to Asterisk and thinking of installing PBXIAF at home. I've been researching FXO cards and came across the X100P SE. The card seems to be inexpensive - which is what I'm looking for.

Any experiences, suggestions about this card specifically? I've heard of echo issues, etc.

I have one of these cards, very cheap n they work without to much messing about but as far as im aware the caller id does not work and (please i'd love someone to correct me here) never will! , but i guess good for a first build.

I do wish i brought a proper card now tho, i will replace this in the near future.

i Have not seen any echo's with this card maybe im lucky, i hear this card uses software not hardware and is nothing but a pci modem card, but you get what you pay for i would not advise you to buy this card unless money is the only isssue.
