I'm setting up PIAF on a RPi3 at home, with a private LAN of 192.168.1.x and a dynamic WAN address.
I will be moving it to my office, which has a private LAN of 192.168.3.x and (of course) a different WAN address.
What do I need to do to ensure my system will work and that I'll be able to log in to it when I move it to my office?
Thanks.

Don't configure any phone provisioning before you move.
Change the SIP NAT settings in the SIP settings.
Make sure you've configured DHCP or a static IP in the range at the office.

That should do it I would think, though I haven't done that with the RPi before. Someone else correct me if these are different.

Thanks for the quick reply

Hmm... That's disappointing... I wanted to try things out here before I move it. Couldn't I just change the IP settings on the extensions after the move?

If you use the OSS Endpoint provisioning tool you'll need to regenerate all the configurations after the move because the server IP is coded into the configuration files. If you're just doing them manually then that's fine.

I keep one of the cheap consumer routers on the bench for this purpose. The "Internet" port is connected to my LAN and the LAN on the router is set to the same settings as the LAN at the ultimate destination. The only thing you need to change at final install time is the SIP NAT settings to reflect the correct outside IP.
Surprisingly, connections to outside SIP providers usually work fine through the double NAT.

I usually provide a new router (so I can setup remote access and a vpn server), my main router has a dmz to my lab environment. Don't have to worry about double NAT. Just change outside IP at the new location.
