That would depend on what the vaccine is fighting. There is a reason you get yearly flu shots and even then those are like 50/50 on prevention. Also, the J&J vaccine is not mRNA and only 66% effective. There are also all the variants that the vaccines were not made for. This article lacks information like which vaccine was taken and which strain was the cause of the infection. The vaccines where never advertised as a 100% effective, just the best course of action. I am also vaccinated and while I support individual choice not to be vaccinated, I don't want to be forced into mask wearing to protect others who aren't vaccinated. Those who choose not to be vaccinated assume the risk of infection as part of their choice.
